“I feel like I’m a different person now,” he said.

“I’m not going to be like the guy who went through that.”

He plans to work as a software engineer and is also looking for a new job.

“I feel so lucky that I’m still able to be myself,” he added.

“It makes me feel so good to be able to do something that I love doing.”

He said he’s still going to miss the camaraderie and socializing.

“You feel like you’re connected,” he laughed.

“When you’re away from people, it’s hard to have that bond.”

“It’s like I don’t have anyone around me, but at least I have a home,” he continued.

“The only way you feel secure is if you have somebody who’s going to give you the support and help you through whatever your life may be.”

Krishna said he was looking forward to living out his final days at the correctional facility.
